New Russian law for personal data - Are you compliant?

New legislation in the Russian Federation will take effect on September 1, 2015. It will require any database, which is used to collect data about Russian citizens, to be located in Russia. New legislation requires personal data of Russian citizens being held on Russian serversEvery organization doing business in Russia should prepare for implementation of the new legislation.

Compliance with the law
In order to comply with Federal Law 242-FZ, we are already in the process of setting up physical servers in Russia to collect and store the personal data of our clients who are Russian citizens.
