The 50th anniversary Golden Fun Run is the first charity eventorganized by Crown Hong Kong. Every children deserves to grow under an equitable environment. The 5 kilometers fun run is an initiative that lets us all support these children who are living under poverty line with inadequate learning resources. All the proceeds will go to St. James’ Settlement’s “Grant-In-Aid” Brightens Children’s Lives Charity Project, to develop a fair learning ground for children in order to avoid cross generational poverty. Participants have to wear the Crown’s charity-in-motion t-shirt. Categories Individual run Team relay run (max. 4 participants) Minimum fundraising amount HK$100 HK$500 Quota: 50 (entry is first-come, first served). Remarks: This event is opened for Crown staff only. Each participant will be awarded a medal at the Annual Dinner. Spectators are welcome to enter the racecourse viewing deck during the run Donation method By cash, to be paid to Veronica Chan or Maurice Wong Online donation About the Crown’s Golden Relay Like an Olympic torch, lighting up the lives of children in every country, Crown offices are to pass between them the spirit of generosity as they begin a year-long fundraising relay. The golden relay will progress from city to city in the order that Crown offices were opened. Teams at each location can then take part in a month of fundraising activities in support of any local children’s health or education charity. The golden relay begins in January 2015 with the first three offices opened by Crown in the 1960s, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
